Flat Nappies are very economical and fast drying and are well worth considering.  This kit would be perfect for new to cloth parents wanting to try flats, from birth or at whatever age really.  This would also be an ideal kit if you need to top up your existing nappy system pending a new addition to the family.  The new born option in Prefold only will fit from 5lbs upwards and give a very slim leak proof nappy kit to take you through those first few months until the birth to potty nappies fit.

This is a ‘Birth 2 Potty’ kit consists of 10 flat nappies and 2 shaped nappies plus 4 x outer PUL wraps.  It is ideal to use from 6lbs/2.7kg and can be used very successfully up to potty training 35lbs/15.8kg  

This kit gives you a total of 12 nappies all of which can be realistically used from birth or 6lbs/2.7kg onwards.  You can choose between a mix of: 

• Mix of Prefolds & Terrys + 2 shaped nappies – 6 x cotton Prefolds, 2 x 60cm x 60cm Terry Square in cotton, 2 x 60cm x 60cm Terry Square in bamboo
• just Prefolds + 2 shaped nappies – 10 x cotton Prefolds
• just Terrys + 2 shaped nappies – 5 x 60cm x 60cm Terry Square in cotton, 5 x 60cm x 60cm Terry Square in bamboo

Flat nappies,  when used with a nappi nippa are an extremely leak proof nappy option for a new born baby and are not as complicated as they might seem (see the video at the bottom of the page which shows Prefolds). They are an inexpensive, trim, leak-proof nappy system for a new born which can then also be used in birth to potty wraps and continue on as nappies for older babies.  In this kit you also get 2 x TotsBots Bamboozle shaped nappies for night times and nap times plus a mix of flat nappies – you choose which flats you get.

• Prefold flat nappies are made of several layers of ordinary cotton sewn into three panels – with the central panel having most layers.  They are only a quarter of the size of a Terry Square and require a lot less folding, in fact you can just fold them into an oblong if you like, although for new born folding around your baby with a nippa gives a very leak proof nappy.  See the video below
• Terry flat nappies require some simple folding and are fastened with pins or nappi nappas.  Don’t be put off by the folding, it is very simple and you quickly get very adept.

This kit will fit from 6lbs/2.7kg to 35lbs/15.9kg
