Where to apply for your Real Nappies For London voucher. The following councils are part of  Real Nappies for London and have £50 vouchers available to all parents with babies under 18 months: Kingston Upon Thames and Bexley (Lambeth, Westminster City, Hackney, Haringey, Camden, Islington, Enfield, Barnet and Waltham Forest can also apply but have different cash values)   Apply for your RNFL voucher here  and the voucher will be with you in about 1 – 2 weeks (usually via email).  You can then spend your voucher on various trail kits (see below) or purchase nappies ad hoc across my site.  

How to use your voucher once issued.  Add whatever items you want to your shopping basket, go to checkout. If you are buying a pre-made Trial kit, just pay the postage costs, when buying ad hoc use the code RNFL50 in the coupon box.  The name on your voucher should match the name used on the order.  Just pay the postage costs.

Buying a Trial Kit – When buying one of the pre-made Trial kits below, simply add the kit to shopping basket, go to checkout and pay the postage.  Which kit to choose ? Read through the blurb for each kit (below), hopefully that will help you decide.  Choose the size in the size option box.   Some nappies in most of the kits will be birth to potty/one size, others come in a mix of sizes so giving the weight of your child is important, choose newborn if you want to use from birth.

Totsbots nappies are incredibly well made with designs perfected over many years. A simple trial kit that will suit any baby over 9lbs and any parent wanting to have an easy introduction to cloth nappies.  A mix of top selling brands that have been making nappies for years.  They are All In One or Pocket nappies so go on just like a disposable with no separate parts.  It comes in a mix of materials, natural cottons and bamboo and microfibre so you can have some fast drying nappies for emergencies.  This kit also comes with 1 fleece liner to catch the poop! This kit has a mix of nappy systems, sizes and brands.  It comes in 2 sizes, from birth or from 18lbs,   2 nappies are actually birth to potty regardless but the other 4 are either small or large, the smaller size gives a trimmer fit on younger babies.   This kit is ideal if you want to see what the difference is between the various cloth nappy systems and sizes , are looking for a mix of day and night nappies plus want to try some differing brands.   This kit also comes with 1 fleece liner to catch the poop!   Videos links will be sent so you can see how each nappy works.

This kit has a mix of styles and brands and will fit from 5lbs upwards.   If you want to give cloth a go at the beginning and try out all the different modern styles then this kit is ideal.  Personally I would not buy any more in ‘newborn’ sizes going forward as it can be costly,  however it is great to have slim, reliable, good fitting nappy right from the word go.  This kit is also ideal if you are having multiples or are expecting a small baby. Flat nappies are by far the most economical way to cloth nappy your baby and are not difficult once you have had a little practice. They are also very good at containment, ie not leaking !
