Thirsties new Natural One-Size Pocket nappy is not only incredibly absorbent but designed to fit most babies from 8 to 40 lbs.  Thirsties nappies and wraps have their own signature leg gusset which ensures messes will be contained whether your baby is tall, short, slim or chunky. They change size with poppers at the front (as do nearly all birth to potty nappies) and like the bumgenius nappies they have 3 sets of poppers both ways along the front which means you get a less gapey nappy.

My tips – Use a small bamboo booster with the newborn insert in the beginning if you want to keep the nappy slim but increase the absorbency.  

Washing and Care – Please read carefully our full ‘washing and care instructions’.  All nappies and wraps must be washed according to our care instructions otherwise the manufacturers guarantee will not be valid.  All new nappies must be washed before they are used.  Please note that when buying a large number of cloth nappies you should just wash a few in the first instance, and check you are happy with your choice, as I cannot refund on used or washed nappies. This nappy can be tumble dried on a low heat, however it is advisable to only tumble dry occasionally as it does shorten the life of the nappy and of course cost you more.   

THIRSTIES WASHING GUIDELINES

– Before use: Wash 1-3 times using a cloth diaper safe detergent. At every wash cycle:

-Prewash on warm

-Wash on hot (up to 60 degrees no hotter)

-Add another rinse on warm.

-Hang dry or dry in the dryer on low. Turning the diapers inside out may speed dry times. If the diapers are stiff after line drying, you can throw them in the dryer on low heat with some wool dryer balls to soften them.

Important notes:

– Use enough water to soak and cover the diapering items and allow them to agitate.

– Please avoid the following:

Laundry boosters/additives

High heat in the dryer

Pure Soap

Bleach

These practices and/or additives can void the warranty on your Thirsties products.

*A 15 minute cycle on hot in the dryer once a month is beneficial to lamination, and will not void your warranty.
