Little Lamb Sized Pocket Nappies available in three sizes and designed to fit newborns through to larger toddlers.  Each pocket nappy includes a bamboo insert that can be folded into two or three layers and placed inside the inner pocket. The insert is crafted from 100% Oeko-Tex certified yarn, woven rather than knitted to minimize bulk. It is three times heavier than standard bamboo boosters and absorbs three times the amount of liquid. The lack of seams allows for faster drying compared to regular bamboo nappies, though it is not a quick-dry option. As a woven fabric, the insert may shrink up to 10% in size after the first few washes, but this does not affect its performance.

The nappies are fastened with poppers, and like Bumgenius nappies, the vertical placement of the poppers ensures a secure fit. Featuring a double gusset, similar to the Little Lamb wraps, these nappies provide excellent containment, preventing leaks.

Lined with super-soft fleece, the nappy feels gentle against your baby’s skin. The microfibre lining pulls moisture into the bamboo insert, keeping your little one dry.

These nappies have been hugely popular and consistently receive excellent feedback from customers at the Washable Nappy Company. We’re sorry to see them discontinued, as there is little else on the market that offers the same quality and size options.   And unlike other sized nappies these come in a larger size 3  which is excellent for older larger babies who are still in nappies over 35lbs/15.9kg.

My Opinion: While it’s easy to find inexpensive nappies on sites like eBay or Amazon, these are often made in China and may not meet EU safety standards. They tend to wear out after around 20 washes and can’t withstand higher washing temperatures. Little Lamb nappies are built to a high standard and can endure washes at 60°C without deteriorating. Thanks to their sizing, they are durable enough to be used for two or three children, and your second baby can wear the outgrown sizes if you have children close in age.

My Tips: These nappies tend to run a bit long, making them an excellent choice for taller babies. For babies on the shorter side, you may find the nappy is a bit too long at the lower end of the weight range.

Washing Instructions: Wash between 40°C to 60°C. When purchasing a large batch of cloth nappies, we recommend washing just a few initially to ensure you’re happy with your choice, as we cannot offer refunds on used or washed nappies. You can tumble dry on a low heat, but we advise doing so sparingly, as frequent tumble drying shortens the lifespan of the nappy and increases costs. Avoid using Ecover washing powder or liquid with your cloth nappies. Be sure to read our full washing and care instructions. MANUFACTURERS WASHING GUIDE –

Care for your nappies by following these easy steps.

1. Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don’t flush it.
2. Close any velcro tabs.
3. Put them in a dry pail with lid. Wait until you have a full load.
4. Wash them with a gentle washing powder on a full cycle using the recommended amount of washing powder for load size and water hardness. Note – DO NOT ADD BLEACHING AGENTS OR FABRIC SOFTENERS.
5. Hang out to dry in direct sunshine or near (but not touching ) a direct heat, or tumble dry on a low heat.
