Bright Bots 100% cotton muslin squares,  70cms by 70cms square,  are made in good quality muslin cloth.  This pack comes in bright rainbow colour combinations with 3 combinations available unisex, boy and girl options. Bright Bots Muslin Squares match the Bright Bots Terry Squares combo packs. They are the perfect gift for a new baby or for a baby shower. Bright Bots Muslin Squares can be used as a newborn nappy in the same way as terry squares or prefolds and are great for newborns babies as so many nappies are needed at this stage.  You can of course also use them to swaddle your baby. and they are a great as a burp cloth, comforter and general mopping up cloth. The bright colours are fun and funky.

They are machine washable and colour fast but it is advisable that they are washed separately or with other dark colours for the first few washes.

Muslins as nappies.  Muslins can easily be used as a nappy (with an outer wrap) and are great as an emergency if you suddenly find you have run out of clean nappies.   Newborns do not generally require a super absorbent nappy so muslins work well,  they can be folded like a terry square or prefold and used with a nippa or just fold into an oblong and tuck into the wrap.  Because they are 100% cotton with no elastic they can be washed at higher temperatures, so using muslins is ideal for parents wishing to use cloth from the very first moment because the meconium can stain. They are also inexpensive so can get you through the first weeks or months until your baby is big enough to fit the birth to potty nappies.  Just boost with a bamboo booster if you need more absorbency.
